Katama (Diego Cheloni 11.13.84) also known as DICH, Born in Fray Bentos, Uruguay, located then in Montevideo, the capital city. Dj - producer and remixer.He began his career as a self-taught musician approaching to percussive instruments, guitar and piano. Electronic music motivates him to get involved with synthesizers.Dich´s first productions approach him to minimal sounds and conceptual techno dub. His music development shoots him to different styles, always supporting the idea of minimal works.His live performances are unique, showing always clearly the techno minimal style, but more than anything distinguish his most experimental warm up, where the artist feels more comfortable to express his creativity.His career as a dj has been developed in the Uruguayan underground when in the 2006 he becomes a resident of ?La Penúltima?, place that eventually would be transformed into the home of the new scene artists.Diego has been presented in several cities of the country, always carrying new frontline sounds no matter where it would be.His career as a producer began in the late 2008 with his first release ?Orbit EP? followed by ?Connected EP? (both PILD RECRDS) then getting 3 post topics among the largest download portal beatport.His so diverse music has obtained the support from different artists such as Dave Clarke, Franco Bianco, Pablo Bolivar, Fernanda Díaz, M.O.S., Thomas Penton, Rocha and Lewinger, Logiztik Sound and more.Dich so far has released over forty original tracks on stamps from Germany, Austria, Spain, Ukraine, Australia, Italy, Uruguay and Argentina. Besides he has vinyl and CD digital releases.Conceptual: A series of releases containing all his own productions, which are free distributed through Dich´s blog, soundcloud or myspace.Dich is currently working on his next play, a CD that will contain all the original tracks from the artist and will be available through Hypnotic Room.
