Captain Random is IrishDJ/producer Enda Rochford. Captain Random gets transformed by Tcane and Samuel James. The eponymous track Acid Funk Roadtrip is taken from the Lake Monster EP gets transformed by Tcane and Samuel James. Tcane is slowly building up a serious reputation as one of Germany´s hot new producers of deep funky tech-house and minimal techno and his reinterpretation of Captain Random´s Detroit inspired tune is positive proof to Tcane´s skill and ear for quality club sounds. Samuel James is the man behind Elektrsouls and Digital Drop and is starting to show his teeth as one of the UKs undiscovered techno giants of 2012. The EP is complete with another mix from Tcane of Captain Random´s Unknown Quantity.
