Jason Patrick and Sassmouth are established artists originally from Detroit, MI and Spokane, WA, respectively. Their collaboration on the production of the track "Use Your Imagination" is the basis of KLEC002, which delivers an innovative and exhilarating collection of remixes of this original hit track. "Lude Move," produced by Klectik co-founder Josh Surma of Detroit, cleverly transforms the original track into a dynamic journey characterized by a meticulously sequenced and expertly arranged array of diverse sounds. Its components flawlessly combine to produce a powerful, exciting dance floor track! Chicago´s Genna "db" Greene masterfully created her remix by micro sampling the original track´s sounds and pairing them with sleazy, electro-house like bass workings. Her "Stalker" remix is undeniably irresistible, as it seductively slinks through itself with varied intensity. Veteran Chicago techno dj/producer Frankie Vega delivers an intense and driving "Dirty Imagination" remix, which emphasizes the ominous tone of the original. Vega skillfully reworks the track´s original synth into dirty, pounding stabs and flawlessly weaves various elements from the original into his mix. Using this formula, Vega hypnotically builds his track up to a stripped down break, which steadily reconstructs itself before slamming back into frenzied action! Detroit´s Punisher constructs her "Wild Imagination" remix with captivating dark and moody undertones. With a dark, sinister bassline and a warm, capricious synth, the original track is craftily molded into a complex maze of distinct auditory phases. "Wild Imagination" starts off teasing various elements of the original to arrive at a shadow-drenched break, which culminates into a fervent sea of jacking dance floor sounds and then disassembles with a choice assortment of trippy noises and effects.
