HOT TUNE ALERT!!! JOHN SELWAY REMIX!!! The Second Installment on forward thinking label Hej Records is a special collaboration between label owners Punisher and John Overfiend. The Thermal Underwear EP is a perfect fusion of styles that flaunts how indefinable and limitless electronic music is, plunging head first into the ever changing realm of techno. The title track Thermal Underwear begins with a hypnotic melody that grabs you and the lush atmospheric synths float over, as if preparing you for the coming bass storm. The minimal yet driving, chunky shuffled beats hit hard and your body moves to the infectious rhythm. El Detoxo is a droning track with a primal feel due to is otherworldly effected synthlines. The Funky bass and smooth unique micro percussion drive it home. Thermal Underwear is remixed by New York techno veteran and legend John Selway ( CSM, Serotonin & Tronic) . Elements of the original track peek through a thick layer of swanky drums and chugging bass. It twists and turns as it´s blanketed in staggered dubby synth stabs, then the electrical grinding builds, dropping you into a sea of movement that destroys dance floors. With mastering by Tim Xavier at Manmade Mastering, the sound quality speaks for itself. Hej has already received major support on this release from Adam Beyer, Joel Mull, Deetron, Camea, Tim Xavier and other world class DJ´s. This release has spawned a South American tour for Punisher & John Overfiend with several release parties already planned and in motion as well as a packed schedule at 2008 WMC in Miami.
